The Sagrestia Nuova in Florence, the second of the Medici chapels, was commissioned by Pope Leo X de Medici for his nephews Lorenzo and Giuliano and designed by Michelangelo, who also created 7 statues: Lorenzo, Dawn, Dusk, Giuliano, Day, Night, and the Madonna Medici.
