The Okomfo Anokye Sword Site, established in 1695, symbolizes the unity of Asante states. Okomfo Anokye buried chiefs’ stools, conjured the Golden Stool, and placed an unmovable sword. It later fulfilled a healing prophecy and is now home to the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
