Sala del Maggior Consiglio and Tintoretto’s Paradise in 360°

The huge Room of the Grand Council in the Doge’s Palace was the headquarters of the Parliament of Venice (Maggior Consiglio) that counted between 1200 and 2000 people. It hosts some of the most important paintings of the Mannerist Venetian tradition including the Triumph of Venice by Veronese and the Paradise by Jacopo Tintoretto, completed by his son Domenico, one of the largest canvas paintings in the world.
