The process of making pots involves several steps, such as soaking the clay in water to soften it, molding it to form the base of the pot, smoothing the surface to create a polished finish, refining the pots by smoothing the interior surfaces, and checking for any impurities. The inside of the pot has to be rough and not smooth. Once shaped, the pots are left to dry, filled in the middle, and then sent for firing.
