Support of “car-free” living: Residents without cars are exempted from participating in the community car park. Car-free households thus save the substantial cost of a parking space. The community car park is therefore not subsidized by the “car-free” households (fair distribution of expenses). Car owners have to accept walking a short distance to reach their cars.
